Note the warning on my yellow ink. The last red LED is flashing on my printer. Based on my interpretation of the Epson documentation and the experience of many 2200 users I will print with a flashing warning then simply change the cartridge when the LED changes to solid red ... even in the middle of a print job. I'm not making any recommendations here, just giving you my experience.
