  • 10. Set Media Type to the name of the paper you are using. Set Print Quality to the option you want, turn off High Speed for maximum quality, then - most importantly - click on ICM (ColorSync on Macs) in Color Management.

Back in step 7 we set the Profile to Printer Color Management. This tells Photoshop to leave the translation of the image's colour values to the printer driver. By setting colour management to ICM/ColorSync in the driver we are telling the printer driver to take over color translation.

  • 11. Optionally click Save Settings... to name and save the Advanced dialogue settings. (You can see in Fig 7. that I named my settings for Enhanced Matte paper as EAM ICM 1440.). Click OK to close the Advanced dialogue
